Golden Gate Apartments
This is a 180 unit high rise building in Surfers Paradise, where I live.
My Body Corporate Committee and friends were being bombarded with hostilities from toxic new owners whose purpose is(and still is) to take over the Body Corporate for their own personal gain.
They established a “Golden Gate facebook page” that gave the impression that they were the voice of the Body Corporate , which they were NOT.
They used this to defame our Committee and everyone who supported them, with vicious false statements which needed lawyers to be involved at a cost to every owner.
I provided Chairperson Robyn with a series of Newsletter styled emails sent to every owner and this helped silence the activities of these newly arrived owners.
Purpose
To promote the Body Corporate Committee approved faceBook page as a source of truthful non toxic factual news about our building and living environment.
Solution
A series of informative Newsletter styled emails were sent to all owners.
Inside was details and documented facts about the disruptive activities of these newly arrived owners, current news items and the details of our Body Corporate approve facebook page.
Outcome of
First Golden Gate email
On 11-10-2024 I used WIX email marketing program to:
- Successfully send 167 emails to Golden Gate owners
- 10 emails “Bounced” and are now deleted from the email list
- 157 emails were delivered to Golden Gate owners’ email “in boxes”
- 4 owners unsubscribed and have been deleted from the email list
- 107 owners opened the email and received our message
- This is a 68% opening rate, a very success result
Our new email list of Golden Gate owners is 153.
The Official FaceBook page membership jumped by 35% after this email campaign.
4 Owners Unsubscribed.
2 are no longer owners and 2 others are owners Aaron Nicholls and Viki Tikao.
Both are “Independent” Body Corporate Committee nominees who campaigned and
complained about our current committees’ transparency and
now they refuse to receive the Body Corporate Newsletter thats all about transperancy. WHAT HYPOCRITS.
AS A FOOTNOTE 1-6-2026:
Three of the “Independents” have sold their units here and moved away.
Much to the relief of a majority of happy residential owners.

It was important to vary the email message, so I created 9 individual email campaigns to promote:

Body Corporate Principals free chapter
This fully automated promotion was sent to my target audience clients over 35 delivery days.
The various campaigns successfully arrived at 9,259 of my clients email inboxes, then opened by 1,708 clients,
resulting in the new website RMSupport.NET received over 1,500 views.

Purpose
To use a fully automated promotion of Residential Managers Support new website and it’s associated products.
Details
I used the BREVO wordpress email marketing plugin to achieve the result I needed.
With a free email send limit of 300 per day I had to split my user lists into 4 then automate 35 campaign days between Jan 2026 and March 2026.
The 3 month projects was designed to keep the client involved without being overwhelmed using the following:
- Create 9 seperate email topics to keep client interested.
- NO emails to send on weekends, Fridays or Mondays.
- Sending a maximum of 300 emails per day FREE.
- Limit emails sent to each client at about 1 per 14 days.
This project was fully automated and distributed 35 daily email campaign to more than 9,000 email inboxes over a 3 month period.
Resulting in over 1,500 new visitors to my website RMSupport.NET.
